| Hi and welcome to my online gallery. Some of my most recent work is exposed here. Veronika was born in Austria in 1943. Already early in life she was seen as an outstanding talent. However, life had different plans for her for the time being. She married, had four children, leaving very little time for her artistic venture. In 1980 she came to Canada and ran a beautiful farm. Later she operated a nursing home, and with all the children gone, she once again found time to pursue her passion. She studied Fine Art and Art Education and now holds a B.F.A. from Concordia University in Montreal. She also has a Diploma in Montessori teaching. She came to live in Cabarete five years ago. Here she discovered the fascinating relicts of the antique Taino culture. Merging the technique of reproducing old frescos and the images of Taino art, she created her own unique art. Veronika is also the owner and manages the Surf Break Lodge.
