Bars

A night out on Cabarete's beach |
|
Most restaurants couple as bars whose most popular drinks are Dominican
brewed "Presidente" beer and the famous Cuba Libres laced
with locally produced rum. Many offer specialty cocktails and mixes
such as Pina Coladas and Caiperenas which are great to sip on in
the late afternoon while chilling out and discussing about the exciting
activities of the day in a relaxing ambiance. The beach-side bars
are popular international meeting places with some offering live
rock and reggae bands, and later on transform into discotheques,
pounding out the music until the wee-hours of the morning.
